The event: be there to watch the pinnacle of sailing
The oldest sporting trophy in the world...
The America's Cup is a competition that is startling in its simplicity. At its heart, it is a duel between two teams. A simple match, you either win or you lose... there is nothing in between. Within this framework however is a beautiful competition rich in history, technology, personalities and drama.
... for the first time in Europe in 155 years!
Thanks to Alinghi's phenomenal victory in 2003 Europeans now have, for the first time, the opportunity to watch the finest boats racing each other on the warm waters of the Mediterranean. The pinnacle of yacht racing can be witnessed from the beach of Valencia.
